The iPhone has appeared on Apple.com.au, likely a mistake, but an iPhone non the less. Though the main picture is an iPod Touch, the lying product is an iPhone, you can tell from the black plastic covering, Apple AU 0 - Aussie iPhone fans 1. Whether this is a secret hint from Apple or just simple human error, who knows. Don’t forget to Digg this, and thanks to Brent for sending this in, any opinions, why not post a comment.

WooHoo, it’s a good day for aussie iPhoners everywhere (well, in Australia). A hacker dubbed ozbimmer has supposedly been able to make calls in Australia, via the Telstra network (not roaming). He achieved this by creating his own sim card, a mix of the AT&T card and the Telstra Card. He can only make outgoing calls though, but this is still great news. If you want some hard evidence of ozbimmers miracles, watch the video. All I can say is that I damn sure hope this is true!

One of our readers (Rod) has contacted me to say that his friend from the US has just arrived in Aus and the
iPhone is working great. The phone is registered with AT&T, but it swapped over to Vodafone as soon as he arrived, this could be a hint at the future, but more likely just that AT&T(US) and Vodafone(AU) have an agreement on overseas customers. All the features of the iPhone are working fine, but there is a BIG premium on using it abroad. The battery life is pretty good (he needs to charge it every two days) and I am not sure whether the EDGE network works or not, but I got the impression it does. A big shoutout to Rod, who sent us this info. iPhone-ae will keep you updated.
