Welcome to post #1 in the iPhone Apps Blog (iPab). This issue will show you how to activate your iPhone and install “AppTap”, the application that opens your iPhone up to the world of community developed applications. This process does not require a PC or Mac, just your new iPhone and access to a wireless internet enabled network.
If your iPhone is already unlocked, then chances are you already have Installer.app installed and do not need to go through this process. However, if your iPhone is fresh off the boat (or plane, or whatever!) then this will get you activated and up and running.This process works on 1.1.2 model iPhones. Ready! strap yourself in and we are off.
Please remember that this will just unlock the phone and allow applications to be installed, not allow any sim to be used in it. For that you will need to wait for Issue #2
