A recent video has been posted on YouTube showing staff members at an AT&T store removing iPhone3G’s from shipment boxes. From the video it looks like there are 10 iPhone’s in each box but this may only be in the US.
What’s even more interesting is that the White 16gb iPhone3G will be coming in a white box!

Those iphone 3G’s are awesome. Its good the box looks the same as the first one in America because i always liked the look of it BUT THE WHITE ONE IS AWESOME! im not getting a white one im going traditional black but boy do those boxes look nice!

Well I’m going to get a white one, because only the 16gb ones come in white, so people will know its a 16gb if its white, whereas if its black it could be either.

reckon i will go for black. but i am now content to wait for a few months to see alternative data packages. current ones are rubbush

just ordered a 16GB black from the vodafone website on a $29 plan with $460 upfront. WHY WOULDNT YOU?!?! gets delivered to your door so you dont have to wait in line at 5:30, and gets delivered tomorow. IM LOVIN IT! you can only order them if you registered your interest on the website.

why wouldn’t we? because you’ve just essentially bent your self over and are poised ready to take 24 months of solid vigorous pounding from vodaphone, with no data allowance whatsoever, and no option to unlock.

different people have different prefences and i have different ones to you. and ifyou want to know you can get vodafone handsets unlocked by vodafone shops and online.
the white ones are three tone.. they don’t look very good. if they would be sweet if they were all white and seriously who cares about the box.

Nope, at least for us, my local optus store got 11 iphones today and they said they were hoping more boxes would come out of the truck so i would say they’ve got a number 11 can go with or they have 1 box and a spare iphone on display. Personally Icouldn’t go down today and my Mums aid she would call me when she found out how many are left, but telemarketers keeping ringing and getting my hopes up.

Im going in about 30mins to buy one.
Will i be able to get one from optus??? Or no chance and they are all sold out.

I just got a quick grab of 16GB white in half an hour… without PRE-ORDER LOL
feel sorry for those of you put deposit and wait for a billion second ( cause you’d count every second :D)
When I passed through apple store around 8:10 me and my friend saw massive people around Apple store, nearly decided to wait until next week. then we went to strathfield for last try. In contrast, it was so quiet there and they had only 2 16GB white left we were after. But they couldn’t serve NON PRE-ORDER customers before 9:00AM. Having spent half an hour watching other people (there were only 3 pre-order customers during that time) to see if any of them is after 16GB white. NO ONE picked the white one then they served us !!!
So that’s the story… In addition, after 10:00AM they still had quite a lot of 8GB iPhones but still not many people around the store while Apple store had quite a lot of people in the queue
For those of you already got the iPhone, have fun. and for the rest, good luck with your next chance. By the way, the Strathfield guy told me next shipment is landing on Monday.
@zmac: I tried every optus in my area, all are either never off the phone or have none and i live in Lismore which isn’t too big of town so i owuldn’t bet on it. If you live near a Strathfield store go there but optus stores are getting more at the end of July or in a week.
Well one of our optus resselers got 2 iphones!

I went and rainchecked my iphone 16g WHITE from strathfield.
They said it should only be a week, but i got a massive feeling that its going to take a lot longer. Although they did say the 16g white wasnt the most sought after model, which i guess can be good or bad. Good meaning not many in front of me, bad meaning not as many shipments cause its not as popular…
@mickstrix think again, there are apps you can get which allow u to send mms. Don’t ask how I have just seen it done. Also, is the samsung touch screen???

love the black thou but my friend have the white iphone and u cant see any finger prints. so i think white has the advantage hmmmmmm
Samsung i900… Yeah okay. Much cooler than an iPhone. Wish I got one of those instead. Serioulsy though I was looking to get a white 16gig but they don’t look quite right. Cool from the back and then you turn it round and contrast between the front and back just doesn’t feel right IMHO. So Igot a black 16gig. Pity about the finger prints on the back though. Still it’s great looking phone.
Yes there are 10 in a box… we ordered 9 for work and the box came with a space for one more… Beautiful iPhone!
