apparently iphones will NOT be sold at apple stores, the online store or apple retailers.
they will only be sold at vodafone & optus stores themselves.
Apple says that this will mimizie the amount of jailbrocken iphones (the carriers may want your details when you buy an iphone)

daba, although that seems rather convincing and while it looks like good evidence, apple wouldn’t say if they were selling at an apple store if its not yet on the map, I expect this to change on june 19th and apple will sell the iPhone through their brand new store but you will still need to sign a contract before you leave the store.

Yeah i did, it was amazing, I lined up at 8am on the day of opening and was about 75th in the line. The 9 hour wait was over in now time, and i ended up spending 1 and a half hours in the store and didn’t even know it. Ill be going to the iPhone launch at the store will i see you there?
Hopefully but I doubt it. I hope they will sell the iPhone at the Apple store aswell as Optus and Vodafone ones

The Apple store in Chadstone is infact a Computers Now outlet. There will be an Apple Store, run and owned by Apple itself (just like the Sydney one this article is about) in the newly extended part of Chadstone later in the year.
Apple Logo is look fascination!!
