So far in iPab I have been covering apps that can be installed on hacked iPhones since I assume that to have your iPhone working in Australia it must have been hacked in the first place. But occasionally a legit web application catches my eye and I just have to share it with the rest of you.
At CES this week FlyTunes made it’s debut. It is a radio streaming app that takes no hacking to operate. While streaming radio audio on a webpage is nothing new, there are a couple of features of FlyTunes that stand out. First is that it stores up to half an hour of radio in the iPhone’s memory. So when you leave an Edge or WiFi network, the audio will continue. Second is the interface. It is a simple but effective interface that allows you to browse, sort and customise your channels. list. And third, best of all is the price. Nix, nudda, NOTHING!
Due for release on January 21st. Visit their website for more or check out this YouTube video from Engadget of FlyTunes in action.
