iPab - Enable video recording on your iPhone

As many of you with iPhones will know by now, while the iPhone may have a camera, currently it only takes still images. That is all about to change thanks to ShowTime newly released by released by Polar Bear Farm.ShowTime allows for video capture at 6 frames per second at 320 x 627 resolution and stores it as a RAW file.Show Time by default allows for you to record 5 seconds of video. If you want more than that, you need to fork out a $10 contribution.

Show Time is available on Installer now, but you’ll need to add the Polar Bear Farm source to see it, like so:

• In Installer tap Sources on the bottom row
• Tap ‘Edit’ at the top right of the Sources screen
• Tap ‘Add’ at the top left of the Edit screen
• Enter this URL: http://www.polarbearfarm.com/repo/ - and hit OK
• Tap ‘Done’ and hit ‘Refresh’ at top left
• Now you should see Show Time under the Multimedia category
