Howdy all and welcome to my new “iPhone Apps Blog” within iPhoneAE. The aim of this blog is to bring you reviews and updates from the unofficial app’s scene with the iPhone. It is a well known fact that the iPhone was released without a native development kit. This irritated many developers and frustrated users who did not like the thought of always having to go online to access web based applications. While it has been announced that an SDK kit is being released (probably at MacWorld 08), it hasn’t stopped the online development community from creating their own apps to run on Jailbroken phones. Now if you are indeed an Australian iPhone user as this sites target market is aiming at, then it is assumed you are using a Jailbroken iPhone just to get your local sim going. Well good news, installing iPhone apps takes no technical knowledge, just an application called “AppTap” and an internet connection. Once installed you will have access to the dozens of applications now available to make your iPhone just that bit more special. So stay tuned for issue one where, if you haven’t already, Ill show you how to install “AppTap”
