i can verify this actually works but i had to downgrade the baseband first because my iphone froze and i couldnt get it working again so i upgraded but i didnt know about this method till the other day. Before this method i tried for 5 days to unlock the phone to my network. So i kept on searching and found this tutorial and i have to give props to the hackers cause this does work but i again stress that if you have upgraded then tried to downgrade then you do need to downgrade the baseband then unlock with iunlock anysim and simfree did not work for me.
