iPhone (again) Unlocked. This time software only. Double Yay!!

Today is a great day for iPhone owners everywhere (especially those not living in America). The fellows over at iphonesimfree.com have managed to unlock the iPhone, minus the fiddly opening, soldering etc. required in the previous method. They will begin to SELL (AAAAWWWWWW!!) the software online next week. If hard proof is your thing head over to Engadget, they even have a video (as well as a unlocked iPhone, lucky sods!!). The announcement was closely followed by another unlocking revelation, iphoneunlocking.com, of uniquephones.com, will also begin selling unlock software after breaking Apple and AT&T close, loving embrace. So they’re offering the software for sale? I think anyone willing to break the iPhone’s EULA would also be more than willing download the software for free of bit torrent.

But on the other hand, lots of work has gone into this crack, so they hope the at least get paid for their time..not too much tho!

I bought an iphone last week in USA
Now on http://www.iphone.unlock.no I downloaded instructions which were originally hardware and software now only software.
I unlocked it and am using iphone in Canada on telstra sim card on Canadian network!
